Residents are allowed one bulky item per week. Items that are too large to fit into the poly-cart need to be placed out on your regular scheduled pickup day and must not obstruct the poly-carts. Extra items are not allowed to exceed 50 lbs and must be less than 3 feet by 4 feet.
Tree trimmings must be tied in bundles not exceeding 3 feet in length and 12 inches in diameter.
Do not discard tires or large appliances in your trash. Please take these items directly to the Coffey County Landfill to dispose of them properly.

Dumpsters located in the city are paid for by private individuals and are not for use by the community residents. Please respect the fact that the city has hired a company to pick up your trash. Please do not allow family and friends from outside the city to bring their trash to your residence.
