The City of Waverly is accepting applications from qualified candidates for the City Clerk/Utility Clerk position.  This job performs duties and functions required to meet daily office activities and needs.

This is a full or a part-time position.

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour DOQ

The Waverly City Council Meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month 6:30 PM – City Hall

Due to the Coffey County suggestions in regards to social distancing, the City Council meetings will be broadcast via Zoom. Ohio Days

Many of the early settlers of Waverly were from Ohio. This heritage is still celebrated annually at the multi-day Ohio Days Festival held every second weekend in July. The festival includes:

  • A parade down Pearson Ave;
  • 5K run and 2K walk;
  • Dance in the city park;
  • Free breakfast and church service; and
  • Carnival, games and contests.
